Job tittle: Air-track drill operator - construction Wages: $38.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week, Permanent employment and Full time Number of vacancies: 2 Business Address: 15926 56 Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 2J7, Canada Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work site environment: Outdoors Noisy Dusty Cold/refrigerated Hot Tasks: Read instructions or diagrams and lay out drill patterns. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed. Operate air-track, rotary, down-the-hole or other drilling machines to drill blast holes or may direct drilling of blast holes. Operate air-track drilling machines to bore holes in rock or soil at construction sites. Set up and align drill rigs according to job specifications and site conditions. Select and attach drill bits and rods depending on the material to be drilled. Perform routine maintenance. Load and unload drilling equipment and ensure proper storage of tools and machinery. Communicate with site supervisors, and other crew members regarding drilling progress and issues. Maintain records of drilling operations, including depth, type of material encountered, and any difficulties. Ensure work is performed within project timelines and environmental regulations.
